Still Booked and Blessed.
This past week I booked another wedding!! I was so excited when I received another inquiry about my Month of Coordination package. I followed up with the bride via email and after the consult form was complete I sent the contract and payment link for the deposit. 24 hours later - BOOKED!
I've only been open for business a little over two months now and I have booked two weddings, designed postponement announcements for a client, currently working on welcome bags for another client, planning a bachelorette party and my next project scheduled is to design Evites for an upcoming event. Between the projects and keeping up with social media, I have been very busy but feel SO blessed!
A La Carte Services
With a few people reaching out to me regarding specific needs such as the wedding postponement announcement and the welcome bags - I started thinking,"aside from my event planning packages, why can't I offer individual services as well?"
The client who was interested in the wedding postponement announcements reached out to me via Facebook after I had posted the Bachelorette save the date magnets I had designed. She initially asked if I had a postponement design already (I didn't) but I offered to research the best promos and design a save the date postponement for them anyway. They accepted and so I emailed them a few designs including the price and shipping for the announcement themselves as well as a design and ordering fee for my time. I was thrilled when they said they loved one of the designs - needless to say I emailed them an invoice and payment link, ordered the announcements and shipped them the next day. I am happy to say that the couple wants me to design their wedding invitations as it gets closer as well!
In December, a month before I launched, my aunt reached out to me regarding welcome bags for her birthday cruise this June. Of course I was thrilled she wanted me to make welcome bags for her knowing that she would be my first client! Side note - she got the idea from our wedding welcome bags and loved them! I am currently working on her bags now and another reason why I wanted to start a la carte services.
The list of a la carte services I offer include -
Postponement Announcements
Save the Dates
Invitations
Save the Date/Invitation/Postponement Addressing and Mailing
Welcome Bags
Recovery/Hangover Kits
Wedding/Event Favors
Honeymoon Registry
Need any of the above services for your event? I would love to help!
The Bridal Binder Blog
In addition to booking another wedding, I also started the launch of my business blog this past weekend. I know, I may be taking on too much with starting another blog but my responsibility as an event planner is to inform and educate others and so that is what I am hoping to pursue with The Bridal Binder Blog.
I plan to do vendor shout outs, Do's and Dont's, tips and tricks on event planning as well as high-lighting weddings I plan and/or coordinate. I am hoping to release a blog at least every week but with the rate I am going with THIS blog, if not every week than every other week. This is just another marketing outreach for my business in hopes of gaining potential clients.
My first blog is LIVE - read it on my website - https://www.bridalbinderevents.com/blog-1
