When and How?

Brainstorming.
Since going live on Instagram about The Bridal Binder I have been in such awe at the positive feedback. Everyone continues to send me random messages "I'm so proud of you" or "I know you'll do great" which gives me such motivation to continue this business venture dream of mine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out!
Since that night two weeks ago, I have dug deeper and started brainstorming ways to increase my social media marketing before and after launch day. Today I ordered a letterboard from Amazon that will be here Wednesday and I hope this is a start. I actually found a gray letterboard that matches well with my logo and business colors #winning but I don't want this to be my main prop for posts and I need to continue the marketing ideas.
Daily Routine.
Since my mom started her Etsy shop in 2016 I took on the responsibility of marketing and promoting her items on social media. On top of this I started my blog and have been trying to keep up with writing blogs and post on there. At times I go a few weeks without writing a blog due to life and getting busy but with starting The Bridal Binder, I have added my biggest social media responsibility yet.
Being in charge of my mom's accounts has made me realize I have to make social media marketing a part of my daily routine. I have mentally prepared myself (yet I haven't been physically successful) that I need to wake up earlier in the mornings to give myself at least an hour to concentrate on marketing and brainstorm ideas and topics for the next few days. I have three social media platforms for The Bridal Binder and so my goal is to post on at least one daily (if not all three) to get my name and business out to the public.
The Research.
Hashtags have been successful in my social media marketing thus far. I have gained followers not only on my personal blog account but The Bridal Binder directly as well. I have also done my own research and found local vendors in the Miami area on social media including event planners, photographers and photo booth companies. I have followed them and in return they have followed me which is exciting. I hope to be able to work with and alongside some of those vendors in the future.
Aside from researching on social media, I also looked into being a vendor at local bridal shows and be a part of The Knot Pro. I had a feeling the expense of being an on-sight vendor would be expensive and I was proven correct as vendor fees range from $475 to about $750 to have a booth. Ouch! This was unfortunate as The Knot Pro was not in my budget either at this time. I was hopeful that they would've been more affordable as this could help get my business out to the public and a great face-to-face marketing tool. I hope to have a vendor booth in the future once it is financially reasonable.
Note to self - research other face-to-face marketing ideas.
Next Steps.
I haven't officially decided on my launch date yet but knowing it will be in the next few weeks, on top of focusing on social media marketing I have started to focus and put together my paperwork needed for consultations. My goal is to put together a folder to give to clients at their free consultations that would include information on my packages, price sheets, decor rental information, etc.
This week I plan to shop for gray folders (color scheme) and white sticker labels in order to put my logo on the front of the folders and present to possible future clients. I finished my package comparison sheet and I'm currently working on my price sheet and my decor rental info sheet.
Social media marketing has been fun so far and I am excited to continue brainstorming creative ideas.
