Thank you.

For those who have shared my Facebook and Instagram posts, I just wanted to say thank you so much! The love and support I have received since launch day has been outstanding. Those who have shared my Facebook statuses have increased my page engagements and public exposure. I have had a few people reach out interested in my services and makes me hopeful for the future. For those who continue to share my post, thank you!

Social Media.

Since launch day I have been focused on posting on social media every other day. I don't want to be "annoying" or overload feeds with pressure to book consultations but in the interim to let everyone know what I am capable of, promote DIY crafts I have done and projects that I am currently working on. The hardest part lately has been thinking of creative posts. I try to plan ahead and currently I have about 8 drafts saved on Instagram to post in the future. I have been using pictures from our own wedding as well as staging photos in my office featuring my DIY crafts/projects I have done in the past. I try and alternate between the two.

On the days I don't post for The Bridal Binder, I am posting on my mom's social media accounts for her Etsy shop - Made By Margie Ann. So far this has worked out well and I have been able to run both accounts. I haven't been been able to write as many blogs lately due to time and staying busy but I try and make time on the weekends to write a blog - update friends and family on how everything is going and what I am currently working on.

Current Projects.

1) I am the matron of honor for my best friends wedding so I have been planning her bachelorette party for this upcoming August and soon I will be planning her fall bridal shower.

2) My aunt hired me to make welcome bags for her upcoming birthday cruise this June. I have been taking notes on creative ideas and coming up with her welcome bag theme.

3) My cousin's 30th birthday is this November and I have been hired to plan her birthday party.

Being that this is a side job for me, the few current projects keep me busy but I have a few marketing ideas up my sleeve in hopes of gaining more clients/events. Stay tuned for that!

I have a notebook in which I keep all of my planning ideas and take notes. Often I plan in my down time and so it is a good reference of what has been done, what needs to be done and where I left off with the planning. I have tabs for each event (the organization never ends) and I keep track of websites, ideas and make to-do lists for each event.

The Waiting Game.

Aside from my current projects, I know it's going to be a waiting game per say of booking clients. I have to realize that it has only been three weeks since I publicly launched and need to come to terms with the fact that everything will take time. Right now I am focused on getting my name out there with both potential clients and local vendors.

Again, thank you to everyone for your support and believing in me.

I am praying for a successful year with The Bridal Binder.
