Finally Arrived. Finally Happening.

Launch Day.
All day today I have been so anxious knowing launch day is tomorrow for The Bridal Binder. Earlier this morning I spent about 4 hours taking notes and writing down ideas for social media posts. I have a list of about 14 ideas/topics to get me started for the next few weeks. I want to keep my social media accounts lively and up to date. I'm hoping to make time throughout the week to re-evaluate previous posts and continue to generate new ideas and topics (for both posts and blogs). I plan to post every other day on Instagram and every few days on Facebook as I feel social media is going to be my biggest outreach. Friends and family have been so supportive thus far and I know word of mouth will be a great outreach for my business as well.
Square.
Tonight I spent a few hours overlooking my Square account in which I will be scheduling my consultation appointments through. I reassured myself that the app and my calendar were set up correctly for the next few weeks. I needed to be sure appointments would be scheduled based on my availability. I updated my calendar and took off dates I would be out of town. I also set it up so that clients can schedule their own consultations up to two weeks in advance and cancel their appointments 24 hours prior if needed.
I've tested the appointments a few times and feel confident that it will be done correctly. Square allows for text and emails reminders to be sent out automatically based on the settings I have activated which is awesome and a great feature. Worry free for me and should prevent no shows.
Pay Pal.
Tonight I also set up my business Pay Pal account. I linked my bank account and played around with creating invoices. I sent sample invoices to myself and loving the way they look professionally. They're easy to read and clients can pay the balance (partial or full payment) directly from the invoice email.
I feel that Pay Pal and Square will both be learning curves as I build this business but I look forward to using these renowned apps and companies to help grow my business.
Two is Better than One.
Tomorrow not only signifies launch day for The Bridal Binder but is also the anniversary of the day Jeremy proposed. A day I'll never forget (literally being the coldest day in Florida on the beach aside from Jeremy getting on one knee) and I am excited to reminisce on the memories tomorrow from our proposal and also celebrate yet another milestone on January 7th.
A sigh of relief that the day is finally here and the fact that I honestly feel prepared. I am truly ready to book clients and see this business grow. Side note - I have consultation folders put together and set for appointments.
I know it may take awhile and I may not be full time (now or ever) and that's okay but having this as my side business has been fun, challenging, overwhelming, terrifying, exciting - all the emotions have been felt.
The adventure is just beginning...
